The gardens

A hectare of meadows and gardens surround the Mas de Saribou.

Upon arrival, you will first discover the priest’s garden: six squares bordered with boxtrees, planted with old fashioned roses, peonies, dahlias, and asters, a pond, old fruit trees with their bird houses, a meadow, a small colourful paradise which was described in a book on garden art: « Modes et tendances au jardin, des années 60 à nos jours » published by Ulmer.

The mill garden, around the ecological lodge, supports plants, trees and bushes adapted to the summer drought. Arbours of grape vines and climbing roses and the water garden bring freshness and poetry in both summer and winter.
Lounge chairs, hammocks, armchairs and garden furniture await you for a sunny breakfast, a siesta, teatime or reading in the shade of a tree.

The domaine is also a refuge classified by the League for Bird Protection.

And don’t forget Dahlia and Mimosa, our two Ouessant ewes, who contribue ecologically to keeping the grass mowed in the meadows, nor the little people of the grasses and waters: butterflies, dragonflies, frogs, who are the joy of children.

Neither chemical fertilizers nor insecticides: Michel is an organic farmer!
